Weekly Connection

Our connection of the week: 10/20/2025
A dedicated father of four recently moved his family into a new home and is working hard to create a safe, stable environment for his children. He has bunk bed frames ready for his four children, but right now, they are sharing air mattresses on the floor because he does not yet have the mattresses, bedding, or pillows to go with the bed frames. In addition, he is welcoming his nephew into the home and wants to provide him with his own bed and bedding so he can feel comfortable and cared for in this new environment. Providing these items will help ensure all five children have a warm, restful place to sleep and feel truly at home. This is a wonderful opportunity for your church to bless this family and show God’s love.
Give Back For Impact has helped fund this family and get them back on their feet by providing bedding for the children.

“I am working with a mother that was informed that her baby was not viable but when she went into have the procedure to remove the unviable fetus, the doctors found out it was twins and although one of them did not survive, one of the twins did! The mother is now rushing to try and gather ALL the supplies she needs to ensure she is prepared for the miracle child to come home safely. This mother will need a crib, bottles, formula, and most of the other essentials that a new baby would need. I am uncertain of the exact amount that the mother will need in assistance, but any help will go a long way to ensuring the families stability and wellbeing. I know the mother is reaching out to all her resources to attempt to acquire some of these things any way she can but I wanted to put in this request to take some of the pressure off of the mother so she can focus on the precious miracle baby she thought she had to mourn before the child was even born!”

We are so grateful to be able to help support this mother during such an emotional and miraculous time. Knowing that one of her twins survived and will soon be coming home fills us with joy, and we’re honored to donate supplies to help her prepare for her baby’s safe and happy arrival.

Our Weekly Connection: 11/24/2025

“A resilient mother in our community, who is five months pregnant and raising two children, is facing a severe crisis: she is at risk of losing her job because her car is broken down.
Her family relies completely on her income, and her boss has threatened her job due to transportation issues. To make ends meet, she’s been forced to rely on costly ride-shares, spending $60 a day ($30 each way) just to get to work—a cost that is quickly wiping out her resources.
We must get her 2011 Nissan Murano back on the road immediately. This car is not a luxury; it is the lifeline that protects her job and supports her family.
The critical repairs (belts and an idler pulley) cost $753.58. While $105.00 has been paid, we urgently need to raise the remaining $648.58 to complete the repair.
Please help us secure her employment, stop the unsustainable ride-share expenses, and ensure this pregnant mom can focus on safely raising her children and preparing for her new baby. This is a chance to be the Church in action, providing stability when this family needs it most.”

We are thrilled to share that the remaining funds have been raised and her car repairs are being completed. Because of your generosity, this hardworking mother can keep her job, support her family, and move forward without the daily stress of costly rides. Thank you for being the Church in action.

“A family with four children ages 18, 17, 16, and 13 have recently moved and are all enrolled in the Bradford County school system. They had been homeless for two years but are now back on their feet and have secured an apartment in Starke, where they moved to help support an elderly aunt whose health has been declining. They currently have no beds or furniture besides a small futon. They are in need of beds and simple storage for their clothes to help stabilize their new home. The children shared that if they could choose bedding, they would like solid colors: blue, red, black, and purple. Providing these items will help give the family comfort, stability, and a safe place to rest as they rebuild their lives.”
We are grateful to be able to help these kids get back on their feet and continue their education.
